Digitizing Cassette Tapes

I dug up my Grandmother's box of tapes last night and transferred them from the old cardboard box to a new plastic bin. 

As you can see, there's a lot! But I look forward to peering as much into the past as possible. 

My first selection is the one marked, well, "Brian". On the tape, my grandmother says the date is September 16th, 1978 (after correcting herself from August 16th - which just happens to be my wife's birthday).

Since I'm familiar with Adobe Audition (back when it was Cool Edit Pro), I will be using it to digitize.
